Foothill Technology High School BioScience Academy Calendar

FTHS BioScience Academy for 2010:

• Wednesday and Thursday, February 10 and 11, 2010:
  In Biology classes: promotional announcements inviting freshman to the            Recruitment presentation on Feb 18 or 19.

• Thursday and Friday Feb. 18 and 19, 2010:
  During FIRE, 15 minute recruitment presentation in the Biotech Lab, E105.
  Applications available at that presentation, in E104 or on the BioScience Academy Website.

• February 18th  – March 3rd , 2010:
  Applications must be completed and Teacher Recommendations obtained.

• Friday, March 3rd, 2010:
   Applications due to the Office by 3:15 pm.

• Tuesday, March 9th , 2010:
  All BioScience applicants meet during lunch in Mrs. Butler’s room (E104). Distribute interview times, go over commitment and details.

• Wednesday March 10th – Tuesday March 16th, 2010:
  BioScience Student Interviews.

• Thursday, March 18th, 2010:
  Cohort 7 and new members of Cohort 6 are notified!

• June 4th:  6 – 9 pm:
  BioScience Fiesta: Orientation for parents of Cohort 7 and celebration of accomplishments of Cohort 4! This is a very important event for the entire BioScience Academy. Parents of Cohort 7 need to attend if at all possible!!
